2021.09.19 19:19 Bruised_Penguin The historical campaign is hilarious

I bought it (mostly for the lions and premium time) and it's so bad it's fun! Any one else have this experience?
Also how cool would it be to add some dynamic flight fighters to the air assault arcade mode? I think that would be fun.

2021.09.19 19:19 scrippin Shifting lateral incisor

Hi there!
I had some concerns about my right lateral incisor shifting after treatment. I had my attachments removed on 9/14/2021. I have been waiting to get back to my ortho about ordering my retainers due to my concerns with this tooth moving. It had to be pulled down quite a bit to fall in line with my front tooth. Since having my attachments removed I have been wearing my aligners per usual even though my ortho told me I could stop wearing them. Well, go figure, my right lateral incisor already has a gap in the tray (it did not as of Wednesday) and its only been 5 days. The shift is obviously very minimal so far but I'm concerned its only going to get more substantial especially given the time frame.
Just looking for some advice in this situation as I have already had 2 separate scans/treatments with this ortho. My first treatment was 23 weeks and the 2nd was 26, but she wanted to stop treatment on week 17. I feel annoying telling them I'm not happy that this tooth is already moving back up within 5 days of having the attachments taken off, as I'll probably have to be rescanned and have attachments put on once again. I don't know what the solution here is!!

2021.09.19 19:19 professional_simp444 Does it mean anything when someone keeps repeating themselves?

So just for background. I (16f) was a counselor at a summer camp, and befriended many campers, one of them being A (14m) and we have kept in touch after the camp ended.
First it was just casual snapping but recently he has started talking to me through the app (before he would shut down any attempts I did at conversing) and we have talked about literally everything under the moon, so there are times when we don't chat and instead send pictures of our walls. If I haven't written anything in a while, he repeats these excat same two snaps. ''You know what?'' ''You are really nice to talk to'' No matter what I respond to the first one, I always get the second one after it. ALWAYS. Even if our conversation dies down just minutes later, he sends the same two snaps afterwards.
Does it mean anything? I know that he has his issues (drug abuse and death of a close friend) but I doubt he does this because of those.

2021.09.19 19:19 ArcticLupine 1400$ wedding budget/schedule breakdown (3100$ if you count the rings!)

We got married yesterday in a small/small (10 guests) civil ceremony, followed by a toast at our place. I always liked those type of posts so I thought I'd do mine! All prices are in CAD and include a 15% tax.
- Budget -

- Schedule -
8h30-9h00: Hair (myself) 10-11h: Makeup while husband was buying the last few things 11h45: Picked up the flowers 12h00: Got home, both got dressed together and first look 12h45: Meeting up with both families in front of the ceremony location 13h00-13h20: Ceremony 13h20-13h50: Group pictures near the location 14h00-15h45: Toast at our place, families hanging out, cutting out the cake, receiving gifts. This part went really well, everybody was talking to each other despite a language barrier. It was perfect. 15h45-16h30: Most guests left before 16h00 but my brother in law, sister and father stayed. We just sat down and had coffee together, it was a nice break. 16h30-18h00: My sister, my husband and myself went to a very large and beautiful local park for pictures. Strangers stopped us multiple times to wish us happiness and joy, it was truly a special evening. It was very casual and I'm super happy it was my sister who took our pictures! We were really comfortable, it was great. 19h00: All done! We slipped in our PJ and watched Law and Order as husband and wife.
The day was perfect, it went super smoothly and the weather was beautiful. It's not for everyone but keeping it ultra simple really worked for us! Having a toast at home instead of a reception isn't something I thought about doing before but I'm glad we did that, it really worked well for us. I hope this post can help someone!

2021.09.19 19:19 jinyoung97 This War Of Mine

Hi Everyone,
After doing a bit of research, I have decided to get This War of Mine for some depressing solo play. But being a perfectionist, I have also decided to get an expansion along with it. My question is if this is necessary? The base game itself seems like it's huge already. If I were to get one though, which of the two large expansions do you guys suggest? Tales from a Ruined City or Days of the Siege. I would like something focused more on solo play whilst using most or all of the components from all games. Complexity does not phase me :) so that is not a factor. Apologies if the questions aren't applicable to this type of game. Appreciate any insights!!

there’s a criminal psychology commentary channel that popped up a month ago called Tactical Breakdown that has the same cadence to speaking as shannon and a familiar voice. Also thumbnails with titles written over them in some sort of digital art program. i’m wondering if anyone thinks this could be shannon’s anonymous return to the internet or just a coincidence. 2021.09.19 19:19 somemoonguy Can anyone help me with finding my type? Am I ISxP or ISTJ?

Hello. I'm not really good at typology. As much as I've done typology on myself, I've realized that I most likely be either xSTJ type or ISxP. I've done test before, and I come out either as ISxP, ISTJ, or xNTJ. Lots of people tell me that I have lots of ISTJ vibes, but I'm not sure about that. My enneagram type is 5w4.
• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.
Hello. I am 24 years old guy. I'm kinda chill but quite wacky (because I end up coming up with various wild ideas or plans) person overall. I'm pretty conservative, am pretty bossy, sometimes have problems with anger, and with minding my tone when talking to others, so I happen to be very loud and somewhat aggressive when talking or interacting with people in general. I've lots of facial expressions and I express myself a lot. Occasionally I'm drama queen and sometimes exaggerate things, or screw around with things and people, but try not to overdo it. I tend to overdo whenever I do anything, and generally people find me either an annoying non-sense, edgy, or weirdo.
• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?
I don't know if there is any actually. Maybe I've an actual autism or some similar disease, but as far as I know, I've never been diagnosed with anything so far. So I'm pretty sure I'm healthy.
• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?
I'm from lower middle class family. From pretty conservative surroundings, although my parents weren't really strict to me. I think I turned out a bit too cynical and too skeptical about everything.
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?
I'm jobless now.
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
It depends. I can't say for sure, but if I was very active that certain week, worked hard and socialized with lots of people, then maybe I'd feel refreshed because I'd recharge myself from everyone, and feel relief. If I wasn't really active that certain week, though, then it would feel really lonely.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?
All kinds of activities. I like going outside despite being lazy, and I don't mind going outside. Outdoors activities are more enjoyable to me, since I can move around more often and do whatever, and use up all the energy I have. Staying indoors can be very depressing and boring to me. I need stimulus for my mind, I need any movement, and activity that would work as inspiration or motivation to me. I'm not good at sports at all but I don't mind getting involved in them.
• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
I think I am curious, and maybe too curious, other people might say that they either find me boring or very annoying, because I prefer to stick to myself, but also question everything and ask lots of questions about anything. I sometimes even read about things that catch my interests. I'm mostly curious about trivial things, other people's stories, how to fix something (like making old games to work on modern systems or how to make sure old shelves don't collapse within time), and practical things that I can use in everyday life, any sort of life hacks that help me compensate for my laziness and be more efficient in life and work, and anything that might help me out in the future.
• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
I would take it if I could take one. I don't how good I'd be at it though because I'm sure that I lack skills. I've never been boss or leader of anything, but I could take such role. I sure that I would assign jobs to people according to their competence and their skills, and involve lots of micromanaging of things.
• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?
I'm not sure. My movements are very firm and rigid. I'm also pretty clumsy Lots of people even tell me that I'm very rigid person and need to relax more, and to stop being so robotic. I do enjoy working with hands or physically though, like gardening or woodwork, because they let me stay physically fit, relieve stress, help me think through about things when I need to do any sort of important decisions.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
I used to be around 7 years ago, nowadays I'm not, because I've lost interest. Maybe I've hit the wall creatively, maybe I got bored, I'm not sure. Maybe I will make a comeback in art though. I used to doodle a lot and improvise with painting, used to be into pottery. My art wasn't really good, but it would let me blow off steam in the past, let me fully express myself. Right now I'm getting into guitar playing, it's hard to learn instrument, but I think it'll be worth it.
• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
I used to be strongly bothered by past, used to be really stuck in it because I was forced to it by my environment, but eventually I decided to let it all go because it's not worth to be obsessed with it. It does more harm than use. Also it hurts too much when I think about it. Nowadays I still get random flashbacks when I do whatever, and remember things that I've done wrong, and am haunted by past ghosts from time to time, but it's all past. It's nothing but material to learn from, something that helps you to not repeat same things again. Present time sucks to me. I hate my current presence and status quo, they aren't really fun at all but I know that things are improving. I'm bitter about lots of things that happen to me, and that keeps me motivated, to strive for best possible outcomes and to not be overwhelmed by my past. Sometimes I barely can get over some things. Sometimes I get over things easily. I used to be very invested in future, but also was scared of it because I didn't knew what to do with life and what will happen, and eventually decided to let it go as well, just like past. Now I'm not really scared of future, and instead I just daydream about it from time to time, and also work and put as much effort as possible to improve myself, to get what I want, to prevent things that I know will happen, to make things I want happen, and to be happy.
• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
I ask what kind of help they need and if I can help them with that, then I agree to help them, and tell them what's wrong and what can be improved or done to prevent getting bad results. Otherwise, I shrug off and ignore them because there is nothing I can do. Sometimes if I know a person that might be able to help others, then I direct them to who can help out.
• Do you need logical consistency in your life?
Yes, I do. Logic and consistency are very important for me- when making decisions, when taking action, or when I'm studying to understand materials well.
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
Very important. They help me get work done and move towards next tasks that need to be done.
• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
No. I only direct or correct people if they make any sort of mistakes, or are about to hurt themselves. There are shenanigans when I get very bossy and boss people around for my own satisfaction.
• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
Video games, working out, reading, music, and organizing things around me (schedules, reorganizing things in my space). I like them because they let me express myself.
• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
When I study I really struggle with crowded and noisy places. I'm very individualistic person. I need private space and silence to focus. I learn best when I do breaks and get to see practical approach of anything. My learning styles are visual and kinesthetic. I need graphs, bullet points with facts, notes, and practical examples of things. Theory can be boring to me and I give up too quickly if I stick to it only without breaks. I struggle with listening mostly, I hear, but not always listen. When it comes to classes, my favorite ones were ones that would let me be creative and require logic, to me it was always arts and physics. I liked learning about new things, expressing myself through drawing, and thinking about things how they work and what will happen as result, also challenging myself to overcome myself, my limited knowledge, and to learn something new despite being bad at that thing.
• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
Decent at it but things can get hard if I have no assistance from other people. I get very obsessive and micromanage things until I get tired and eventually just burn out, and let things go. If I'd have to do projects I'd split things into smaller tasks rather than taking up one big task. Improvisation is not my thing, no matter how hard I try. I let others do it, others can do it better than me, I suck at being spontaneous, although there are moments when I succeed because of improvisation and bluffing.
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?
I want stable finances, make a decent career in my field, although I'm not sure if I want to actually make career in my current field, I also want to get physically very fit and healthy, and find a love partner for life.
• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
I'm scared of what's going on with me, of myself. I'm aware that things will either be good or turn out for worse in my case. I'm mostly scared of failure. I'm scared of failing and ending up disappointed with results, I sometimes overthink about things and don't take any risks at all, which is really bad. I'm also very scared of not knowing what will happen, the unknown. I hate lots of things in life, mostly myself for various personal reasons. Hate in me is very strong, sometimes so strong, that I have to can my feelings and stay silent to prevent myself from hurting others because I often know the outcomes, not in detailed ways but just outcomes. I don't know what makes me uncomfortable, maybe people being around me, because I need private space and time for myself. I don't really like it when I have to be in a big mass of people.
• What do the "highs" in your life look like?
Very nice, they feel quite euphoric and very motivating.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like?
Very sad, depressive.
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
I could say I'm realistic person, however, other people would disagree with me as I sometimes look like I'm in other world, carried away to somewhere else. I also often get stuck in dreamy, weird phase when I'm stuck in my head and think very deeply about things. I daydream, but not as much as I used to when I was younger. Now I focus on work and what can be done, and look into future tendencies, how things might turn out for me.
• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
The room is empty, calm, soothing, and makes me want to stay for a while, to meditate. I don't see anything, I'm trapped all alone. It's satisfying because I'm alone and nobody bothers me, but it slowly starts to get boring and I want to get out.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
Not long enough. Depending on situation, I can be very decisive and quite fast thinker. Even if my choices are wrong or not good at all, I still admire them and admit that it was reasonable for me to choose them rather than something else.
• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
Quite long. I'm very expressive and emotional, but my emotions are very tardy. They don't come out suddenly, they come very slowly to me, and hit me really hard. I wish I had no emotions at all if you ask me. They are more like a burden to me than help.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
Not really. I very rarely try to appeal to others. I don't like bumlicking in general, and I'm not trying to appease to somebody else, instead, I prefer to stay very honest and stick my virtues and opinions when discussing things with others, but also trying to balance things a bit and be a bit more open minded because other people might know better than me or vice versa.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?
Yes. I'm not too proud of that, but if situation requires that, I will break the rules or do exceptions to get things done or push things ahead when things are stuck in one place. Sometimes because it's fun to drive others mad, sometimes because situation requires that. I think authority SHOULD be challenged, because they deserve it- any authority deserves to justify their positions.
